WELCOME We welcome all our readers to this new International edition of Privredni vjesnik - Business and Finance Weekly. You may know that the newspaper has been in circulation for very many years, but this English language edition marks a new milestone in our history, and believe that it will be the first of many new innovations that will move us forward. The International edition is not a “mere translation” of the Croatian version. Naturally, we rely heavily on our team of focussed translators well-versed in those matters in which we collectively have a great interest. More, it is the cohesiveness of our editorial team who, with excellent assistance, have managed, we think, to create an in-depth overview of all matters concerning our subject areas. We try to look beyond the words and examine the implications of the topic under consideration from as many angles as possible. We sincerely trust that our efforts meet with your approval: after all, you are the “end-user”, and any feedback you may care to give us in order that we may improve further in the future, will be greatly appreciated.
